Sulfur Goo
A drop used to breed Sulfur Cubes and craft gunpowder.
Sulfur Goo is an ingredient dropped by Sulfur Cubes. It is used to breed more Sulfur Cubes and gives Gunpowder a renewable crafting recipe.
Obtaining
An adult or baby Sulfur Cube drops between 2 and 5 Sulfur Goo when killed. The amount is selected once from that range and is not increased by Looting.
Because Sulfur Cubes can be bred with Sulfur Goo, the item is renewable as long as at least 2 Sulfur Cubes are kept alive.
Usage
Sulfur Cubes
Holding Sulfur Goo attracts adult Sulfur Cubes. Feeding sulfur goo to 2 adults puts them into love mode. They move together and create a baby Sulfur Cube after about 3 seconds.
The parents cannot breed again for 5 minutes. Feeding Sulfur Goo to a baby instead shortens the time it takes to grow up. The item is not consumed in Creative Mode.
Crafting ingredient
Sulfur Goo can be combined with Coal or Charcoal and Bone Meal to craft Gunpowder. The recipe is shapeless and is unlocked as soon as Sulfur Goo enters your inventory.
